About WSIPC
Over 40 years ago, 10 Washington school districts formed a cooperative to empower schools by sharing software development and hardware costs and providing centralized technological support.
The result of this collaboration is the Washington School Information Processing Cooperative (WSIPC), a unique public agency that provides quality information services at a reasonable cost to the state’s school districts.
The data services provided via the cooperative allow our districts more time to focus on serving their schools rather than worrying about state reporting. The solutions offered by WSIPC include federal and state reports, ad hoc data reporting and a team of professionals who work with the state to ensure compliance with legislative data mandates.
We develop, license and maintain software as well as provide technical support and network management. Over 280 school districts in Washington use WSIPC software applications, and user advisory groups keep us abreast of their changing needs and make recommendations for new products as well as enhancements to existing software
Through our innovative structure, WSIPC supplies members with high-quality technological solutions and customer service at a fraction of the cost of that provided by commercial vendors.
Perhaps most important, WSIPC is the only information service provider that automatically modifies its software to match Washington’s unique mandatory reporting requirements, which change from year to year. The result: you know that your district’s reporting obligations are being met.
