40 Years of Partnerships - A Future of Amazing Possibilities!
40 Years of Partnerships - A Future of Amazing Possibilities!
In 1967, ten school districts united as a cooperative to share software, hardware, and centralized technology support costs. On April 8, 1985, our nine Educational Service Districts transformed this small cooperative into our WSIPC Cooperative, marking a pivotal moment in our journey towards ensuring equitable access to information and cutting-edge technology.
Today, April 8, 2025, we proudly celebrate 40 years of partnership, innovation, and service with and for the educational communities of our state!
Your WSIPC Cooperative is built on a vision of shared service and cooperative strength.
Today, that vision lives on—stronger than ever—as we support:
- 314 school communities through our partnership with Skyward
- 260 educational communities through our partnership with PCG
- Every Educational Partner through our statewide purchasing program
- Over half of Washington’s school systems through our Microsoft software and licensing agreements
What began with 40 users at a time accessing services, has grown into a thriving network of over half a million daily users—a testament to the transformational growth of technology, the enduring power of collaboration, and our shared commitment to ensuring success.
Throughout 2025, we will be collecting and sharing stories of your success and the power of your Cooperative. We invite all our partners, districts, and staff to join us in celebrating the cooperative spirit that this moment represents.
We are so grateful for the opportunity to work with you all. Together, we are stronger, and together, we will continue to build a brighter future for our students and communities as One Team!
