Announcing IEP Online 3.0!
Announcing IEP Online 3.0!
Over the last 18 years, our partner Public Consulting Group (PCG) has achieved great things with their IEP Online system, from version 1.0 which spanned from 2005-2013 to their current version 2.0 which began in 2014. IEP Online is a comprehensive special education management solution that empowers educators to develop and manage individualized education programs (IEPs) more effectively to better serve every student.
“We are extremely proud of the work we’ve done collectively with WSIPC, Washington Education Service Districts (ESDs), and Washington school districts,” PCG stated in their recent message announcing the new version of IEP Online. “Looking ahead to the next 10 years, we’re excited about working together using technological advancements to provide a continued proficient user experience in IEP Online version 3.0.”
This version will enable PCG to meet the new and growing needs of the Washington State Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC) as demands for student outcomes and compliance expand. IEP Online 3.0 will include the same features currently available in IEP Online 2.0, in addition to new features which districts requested in the recent “New Features Survey.”
Enhanced benefits (identified in the survey as critical needs for districts):
- Improved and modernized user interface
- Independent 504 and IEP workflows and timelines
- Role-based user types and user impersonation feature
- Capability to merge student records (not just swap)
- State-of-the-art advanced reporting and data analysis capabilities
- Ability to schedule reports
- Improved integration and data propagation between modules
- Increased translation options
- Advanced Find Student screen
Examples of continued benefits:
- Student transfer (IDT)
- Compliance checks
- Electronic signature
- Integration with Student Information Systems
- Imports
- Writeback
- IEP at a glance
- Reminder emails
Over the next weeks and months, PCG will work with WSIPC, SEAC, ESDs, and districts on planning, requirements, and timelines for version 3.0. PCG will continue to work in partnership with the SEAC for continued coordination and communication throughout this process.
