Yes, First Graders Can Program a Robot
In this age of smart phones, tablets and computers, young children know how to use technology. But, they don’t often realize all the hard work that needs to happen for that technology to work. Kindergarten and first grade students in Evergreen Public Schools are learning basic programming by using Bee Bots. The students program the robots to navigate a path along a grid. The Bee Bots help start young students down a path of programming literacy and they are loving every minute of the adventure.
