Founder and owner of Rick Steves' Europe (a travel business with a small-group tour program that brings more than 30,000 people to Europe annually), Rick lives and works in his hometown of Edmonds, Washington, where his office window overlooks his old junior high school. Rebecca Bultsma is an expert in practical AI, K-12 education, and ethical AI. She is known for her roles as a speaker, panelist, and contributor in K-12 publications and Ed-Tech podcasts. With years of research and experience across industries and a Master’s in Data and AI Ethics, she now leads her own AI consulting firm, focusing on foundational AI literacy and ethical adoption training. Sarah Hanchar, a seasoned actor, singer, improviser, and emcee with 20 years of experience, has performed with The Second City, Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and is currently part of Seattle's Unexpected Productions. Outside of performing, she actively supports Seattle's unhoused communities through non-profits and mutual aid groups. Sarah is thrilled to return as the emcee for this year’s WASWUG conference! WASWUG 2025 will be a fully in-person conference. Select pre-recorded sessions will be available for attendees to watch after the conference for 90 days. Payment is accepted by VISA or MasterCard only.


WASWUG
is a user group conference that provides the opportunity for Skyward software users to learn more about the product suite and other topics important to managing and reporting data. WSIPC hosts a hybrid conference in March each year. WASWUG offers multiple breakout sessions for Student, HR, Payroll, and Finance users, as well as beneficial Professional Development courses. These sessions are taught by knowledgeable WSIPC, Skyward and ESD staff, trained professionals, and software power users.

WSIPC is a non-profit public agency that provides technology solutions (including SMS 2.0 and Qmlativ), services, and support to K-12 schools. WSIPC’s purpose is to help schools do more with every dollar and to empower them with the tools to work smarter.
