Pride

PRIDE means different things to different people, and that’s the beauty of it!
Join us as we continue to honor the rich tapestry of our diverse communities and advocate for a future based on love, acceptance, and respect.

Our WSIPC CEO, Dana Anderson, is leading the charge as we advocate to build this future, and he shared his thoughts and hopes for equality within our WSIPC Cooperative and beyond.

“Pride Month is not just an event, but a way of thinking. I believe, over time, we grow in our understanding of the perspectives of others, and we can learn to see things from more than the closed space of our individual viewpoints. In our journey together we need to reflect on how our choices, our words, and our actions promote inclusion or reinforce isolation. We need to explore how our defense of self or sub-groups creates offense and exclusion for others. We need to intentionally dismantle the systems, structures, and practices that produce consistent disproportionate outcomes.”

“This month we can choose to see life through the lenses of communities who have been historically marginalized. We have the opportunity to see how every individual’s unique identity and experiences enhance our collective strength. This Pride Month, let us reaffirm our commitment to creating an environment where everyone feels seen, heard, and respected.”

Together, we can make a difference!
